Every TypeSeer release, newest first
64 releases so far. These are the same notes the app shows under “What’s New”, written for the people who use TypeSeer rather than for a commit log. The current version is 1.5.0, released 15 October 2026.
1.5.0
- Dictation types as you speak. Your words go into your text while you talk. Turn it off with "Type as I speak" in Settings → Dictation.
- Dictation has its own tab. It's in Settings → Dictation now, and no longer experimental.
- Say punctuation and line breaks. Say "comma", "full stop", "question mark", "new line" or "new paragraph". Works in English, Polish and most Western, Central and Nordic European languages, plus Russian, Ukrainian and Turkish.
- See every spoken command. "Show Spoken Commands…" in Settings → Dictation lists them.
- Say the punctuation yourself. Turn off "Add punctuation for me" in Settings → Dictation. Spoken commands and line breaks then work more reliably.
- Line breaks stay safe. In a one-line field a line break becomes a space. Chat apps don't send.
- Words get fixed. A word heard wrong is corrected while your cursor is still right after it.
- Dictation stops when you move. Switch to another app or field and nothing more is typed.
- Dictation skips password fields.
- Statistics count dictation. Words you dictate add to the time TypeSeer saved you.
- Suggestions show after sleep. Grey text no longer goes missing after your Mac wakes or you plug in or unplug a display.

- Suggestions sound more like you. "Learn how you write" now learns from your chats and picks up your habits in each app.
- See what it learned. Settings → Context shows what it learned this week.
- Suggestions stay in place after you calibrate. A move you didn't save in "Calibrate Suggestion Position" no longer shifts suggestions in your other apps.

- Half-typed English words get finished. Pause mid-word and TypeSeer shows the most likely end of it. Turn it off with "Finish half-typed words" in Settings → General.
- Fix the suggestion's position for one website. On a web page, "Save Adjustment" now asks whether the position is for every website or only this one.
- Suggestions come back on their own. If the model failed to start, TypeSeer now tries again (every 30 seconds).
- Suggestions stay on your line in Antinote. After you press Return, the suggestion no longer shows over the line above for a moment.
- Your cursor stays where you put it in Claude and ChatGPT. Spelling checks no longer pull it back to an earlier spot.
- Suggestions match what you type in Word. From the second page on, they no longer repeat text from further down, and corrections land on the right word.
- Suggestions show at your cursor in Google Docs. They no longer appear in the top-left corner.
